What exactly is a “jackpot”?

The term “Jackpot” means the top-tier prize of a lottery. Every time nobody wins the top-tier prize, a part of the money that players spent on tickets will be added to the jackpot. When someone wins the jackpot, the jackpot restarts with the minimum amount set for that lottery.
